4 Steps To Arranging An Awesome Party With PartyTots

As Kids Party Planners, we want to find out as much as we can about your upcoming party so that we can better provide you with awesome ideas for parties and activities that will get you and your guests laughing.

In planning Themed Parties for kids, it is crucial that we understand what is ‘in’ the now! What we do at PartyTots is study the local youth culture through events, kids television, kids education, and other spaces.

We hope that these tips will help you prepare to arrange the BEST PARTY EVER for your little one!

Know What Themes or Characters your Kid will LOVE

Kids party planner singapore

Every child has a story or a character that they love! Finding out which theme or set of characters they love will help us party planners in coming up with party entertainment and activities that they will never forget.

For example, if you have a daughter that loves Peppa the Pig, we would have a very special Fairy Crown decorating activity which is inspired straight from the series. Decor would follow the color schemes of the cartoon, making the kids feel as if they were celebrating a party with Peppa herself!

Pick the Perfect Setting to host your guests

It is important to pick a space which will accommodate both your budget and your guests
One of the easiest places to hold a party would be in function rooms… close to home and affordable In case your condo does not have a function room, ask your friends to see if their buildings have function rooms for you to hold your party. With it being rainy or sweltering hot, on any given day, having a function room is great and will help ensure that the party goes off without a hitch! Other venue options – private restaurant/cafe spaces, outdoor parks, or hotel event spaces – will vary in cost and maximum capacity. If you need help in arranging a venue, feel free to reach out to us

Decide on a Date and Time which will work best for Everyone!

It is important to choose a date and time that works for 80 % of your invite list. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to accommodate everyone’s schedule and hold your little one’s birthday party relatively near their actual birth date.

One trick is to get a group chat going between a few of the parents you are looking to invite, and ask them which dates and times work best for them. Usually, Saturday and Sunday evenings are the best bet for high party attendance and cooler weather.

With at least one date and time set in mind, we will be able to make your party booking and plan our services accordingly

Reach out to PartyTots to run the party activities and flow

LEAVE IT TO PartyTots TO PLAN THE REST!! From catering to decor, we have all that you need to add some jazz to your kids party in Singapore.

Top Summer Birthday Party Activities for Kids

Wonderful Wipeout
If your little one loves the popular reality competition  show Wipeout, consider throwing a wet and wild bash like this one featured on Partytots!
To get started on their own Wipeout course, creative Mama Beth rented an inflatable water slide, stocked a soapy water kiddie pool with rings hidden at the bottom, and made the iconic "big red ball" course with some extra-large bouncy balls and tires. To finish it all off with a splash, she included a "crooked noodle" path (made out of swimming noodles) for the little ones to weave and bob through before crossing the finish line. All in all, a super-fun idea that kids of all ages are sure to love — sunshine, water play, birthday cake... What could be better? Be sure to check out Beth's full post to see fantastic photos of their entire course and party!
Bubble Up
One Charming Party offers up this fabulous idea for making a "human bubble" for kids — a perfect party addition for the kiddos out there who love all things bubbles!
To make your own "human bubble" game, simply create a homemade bubble solution (recipe included in the full post), and you'll want to have a hula hoop and kiddie pool on hand. Crafty Mama Brittany recommends making the bubble solution the night before for maximum gigantic bubble strength — and notes that if you are including this activity for a full-on bubble bash, that bubble containers, bubble bath, and bubble gum are all great goody bag inclusions. Now that's a serious bubble bonanza sure to bring a smile to your child's face!
Angry Birds Love
If you're planning the perfect "Angry Birdsday" bash for your little birdie-slingin' fanatic, be sure to check out this fun idea on Alpha Mom for creating a cool Angry Birds bean bag toss game.
Sure to enthuse all of your pint-sized party-goers throughout the afternoon, this DIY game features homemade bean bag birdies (lots of tips included in the full post), grumbling pigs (mini pumpkins with faces), and a "pig's lair" made out of upcycled packaging supplies and leftover boxes.
Splashy Bash
In need of a serious cooldown this summer? Partytots offers up this fun idea for making a quick and easy DIY water balloon piñata for kids — and we have a feeling that this is one activity that's sure to be an absolute splash at this year's party!
To get started on your own water play piñata, simply gather up a package of balloons, string, a small plastic funnel, a garden hose for filling up the balloons, and a plastic bat or cardboard mailing tube for whacking.
Fun Photo Opps
Nothing beats taking silly photos on your birthday and that's exactly why we can't get enough of this neat idea for making  little monster party photo props featured on Kara's Party Ideas!
Whether you're making a stylish birthday backdrop, a themed character face cut-out, silly masks for the littles to sport, or a DIY photo booth, this easy shutterbug activity is sure to create lifelong memories and plenty of laughs for party pals of all ages! And, if it's a little monster party that you're after, don't miss out on the rest of Kara's great ideas — from sweet treats to decorations, there's plenty of google-eyed good times to be had!
Cool and Creamy Piñata Treats
We cannot get enough of this genius idea for creating an ice cream sundae piñata included on Giver's Log — perfect for cooling off on a warm summer day, and certainly one activity that's sure to be a fun surprise for all of your young guests!
Noting that her colorful square piñata only took her 30 minutes to create and that the piñata fit perfectly in her freezer, creative Mama Amber simply used some tissue paper, an upcycled Amazon box, and Elmer's glue to bedazzle this bash-worthy box o' treats. Visit Giver's Log to see more gorgeous photos of Amber's creation — and to get the scoop on some must-have sweet fixings that they included for their sundaes!
Painting Party Perfection
Nina of J and J Home shares this creative idea for offering giant DIY painting boards for kids, as shown at her niece's Rapunzel-themed birthday party. Needless to say, her guests really let their hair down enjoying this colorful and creative project!
A fabulous opportunity for letting your mini Picassos show off their artistic side in the sunshine, these large "canvases" are simply repurposed cardboard boxes (so clever!). Plus, once the paintings have finished drying at the end of the day, each child can take his or her masterpiece home along with their goody bags — there's nothing quite cooler than offering activities that double as take-home treasures!
Birthday Muddy Fun
If you've got a rambunctious group of tots heading over for this year's birthday celebration, consider making a fun obstacle course, like this one featured on Under the Sycamore.
Much like the Wipeout course, this cool DIY activity offers up a variety of dirty messy challenges, including a romp through tires, oversized cardboard boxes to crawl through, a string maze, and a finale of digging through a pool of mud for plastic insects to take home as party favors. Mom Ashley says that both of her boys agreed that this was by far the best party ever, and we're sure there are plenty of little ladies out there who would also concur! Check out the rest of Ashley's full post to see their creative course ideas.
Outdoor Passing Practice
If you've got a young star quarterback on your hands who loves nothing more than practicing his pig skin spin, he's sure to get a kick out of this homemade passing practice activity included on Family Fun!
Easily made using a large, water-resistant tarp, colorful duct tape, scissors, rope, and markers, this passing practice sheet is sure to get some hoots and hollers from all of the football fanatics at this year's birthday blast (including Dad!). And the best part: this cool passing tarp can be used throughout the summer for hours of impromptu afternoon fun!
Popping Party Favors

Clever Mama Brooke of Inchmark shows off yet another fun idea for creating a birthday balloon piñata activity for kids — but with this one, there's treats hiding in the balloons rather than water!
To get started on your own, you'll want to have a wet/dry shop vac and some PVC pipes on hand so that you can expand the balloon enough to add your candy (Brooke says that simply shoving in the candy only led to accidental holes in the balloons). Brooke includes a full walk through on creating your own balloon piñata board, and with a wee bit of handy help from Dad, you're sure to be all set for plenty of popping fun in no time!
DIY Slip and Slide
Another great addition for your "summer water fun" file, this homemade slip and slide featured on Inner Child Fun is a great idea for throwing a neat summer birthday bash on a budget — with plenty of water fun for all!
To create their DIY water slide, Mom Valerie says that they used a long, heavy-duty contractor drop cloth, a couple of buckets of water, and some U-shaped garden stakes to keep it all in place. It's no surprise that this quick and easy water slide was a huge splash for Valerie's daughter — and we're sure your gaggle of party guests would be delighted as well!
Summer Science Exploration
If you're hoping to include an "edutaining" activity for your child's birthday celebration, be sure to consider this fun idea for making a "fizz and color" exploration lab included on Mama Scout. (Read more)
Perfect for a summer science-themed party, this open-ended activity is easy to set up for your littles, and is sure to provide plenty of opportunity for different variables and scientific exploration. Mom Amy begins by adding baking soda to muffin tins for each child, and then sets out vinegar, along with a variety of items for experimenting, including droppers, syringes, straws, food coloring, glitter, colorful sand, plants, plastic animals, and more. For the young scientists out there who haven't yet experience the fizzing fun that comes from adding baking soda and vinegar, this art/science table activity is sure to pack plenty of surprise!
